Tai Chi a form of martial art that has evolved over the years into an effective means of alleviating stress and anxiety. It has been considered to be a form of ‘meditation in motion’ which promotes serenity and inner peace. Although tai chi is slow and gentle and doesn’t leave you breathless, it addresses the key components of fitness — muscle strength, flexibility, and balance. Tai Chi and Qigong also includes the health benefits of: oxygenates every cell and muscles in your body, helps regulate the immune systems, self-massages the internal organs, increases strength and flexibility, improves concentration. Increases awareness, develops better balance and coordination, strengthens muscles and reduces muscular stiffness, relief of back pain, produces better relaxation. These improve posture both when still and moving, assists digestive system and abdominal organs, produces vitality and allover sense of wellbeing.
